If you haven't heard of Beachbody before, they're the company that created programs like Insanity, P90X, T25, Turbo Fire, Chalean Extreme, Body Beast, Shakeology, 21 Day Fix, and many more. They have Independent Team Beachbody Coaches to help their customers get the most out of their programs, which is what I do. I run Online Health and Fitness Support Groups to motivate and hold my customers accountable. I teach them about Clean Eating and how to make a LIFESTYLE change. As a coach, when people sign up, you direct them to your own Beachbody website. You make commissions from sales off of your site and you make team bonuses if you choose to build a team. You don't have to keep any inventory, deal with customer service, or worry about shipping. Beachbody does all of that for you! It's great if you're looking to make extra money or even enough to quit your full time job. If you're interested in Coaching long term, you can make 6 figures within a couple of years, which you do by building a team of coaches. Once you start building a team, in addition to commission, you get what's called Team Bonuses, which can pay up to several thousands per week. Coaching is not only tons of fun, but it's incredibly rewarding!


What is the ONE qualification you need to become a Coach?
You absolutely have to be passionate about helping others!  Period.


    When you become a coach, you...

    • Get paid weekly - You receive a 25% commission on anything somebody buys from Beachbody using one of your links. Somebody purchases a copy of P90X, you get a check for $29.96.
    • Get 25% discounts on all the products, including merchandise -  If you're using supplements today like I am, just the discount savings alone on let's say P90x Protein Bars and P90X recovery drink covers the $15 monthly website fee.
    • Have unlimited income potential - You can, if you choose to, create a team of coaches as well.  You can create a business based off of a team of people who are passionate about the same things that you are.  I tend to attract women who are passionate about health and fitness,specifically clean eating stay at home momma's. But I also have some individuals who want to grow a business and create a full time income!  The saying you attract who you are is completely true!

    So how do you become a coach?  There are 3 options:

    1.    You can sign up by purchasing a Challenge Pack, which will WAIVE your Coach sign up fee and your first month's maintenance fee of $15.95. If you don't currently have a Beachbody Fitness Program or Shakeology, you would want to go this route. In order to be successful as a coach, it's important that you are also a product of the product! How can you recommend their products when you're not using them yourself?

    2.    You can sign up by paying the $39.95 Coach Enrollment Fee to join and get your business kit, if you do not want to get a Challenge Pack. Then starting your second month, you will be charged just $15.95/month for Beachbody to maintain your website. 

    3.    If you or your spouse is an active member of the Military, your Coach Enrollment Fee is WAIVED as well as your $15.95 monthly maintenance fee for your websites. So you can literally become a coach for FREE!  Just ask me how!

    *To remain an active coach you need to have a Personal Volume (PV) of 50 points per month. Purchasing a month's supply of Shakeology (at a 25% discount) is 90PV for example and you're done. I agree with Team Beachbody's methodology that you need to use their product in order to be able to explain the benefits of the research they've done. 


        HOW DO YOU SUCCEED?
         You succeed at being a Beachbody Coach by putting the needs of others first.  By reaching out to people and offerring your support and guidance.  For me, I enroll my customers into my challenge groups.  That is the place where I have day to day contact with them, I can support, motivate and encourage them to start and finish a fitness program.  I provide them with tips and recipes plus all sorts of different strategies to get into shape.  To succeed you follow the structure of inviting people to a challenge group, enrolling them into the group, helping them succeed and then eventually people become coaches as well!  You succeed by leading by example, inspiring others to get into shape and by being motivated, driven and passionate about what you do!  Of course, you don't have to know all the answers at first.  You just have to be motivated to get started!!!

         WHAT KINDS OF HELP AND SUPPORT WILL I RECEIVE?

         Once you become a coach on the Dream Team you will be added to our closed facebook team page.  There you will receive updates, information, tips, and tools to help you grow your business.  This is your place to check in each day and get answers to your questions. You also will be given the option to be a part of my coach apprenticeship program.  This is a 60 day group that teaches you everything you need to know about running a challenge group, how to find people to invite, how to get them started, what program to choose for them, and how to run a successful challenge group.  You will be given all the tools that helped me to be successful so that you do not have to re-invent the wheel.  You will be given my 90 day challenge group structure, 30 day Shakeology and Clean Eating Group information, along with other valuable business building tools.  You will not have to figure it out on your own.  You do not run your first challenge group by yourself.  Instead you are an apprentice coach in your first group.  I run the challenge but you get to invite 3-5 customers into the group! 

         HOW DOES BEACHBODY PROMOTE ITS PRODUCTS?
         We spend millions of dollars every week advertising our home fitness programs on the major TV stations and cable networks. (You’ve probably seen our famous infomercials for programs such as P90X, Turbo Jam, and Hip Hop Abs, as well as our magazine and Internet ads.) Millions of people already know about Beachbody, and every time we run an infomercial, we get thousands of new customers. We want those customers to shop through your store, so you get the commission on those sales!

    Protein Bars






    Confused by protein bars? What's good? What's bad? What looks healthy but may actually be stalling your fat loss progress?

    Here's a quick label reading tool I learned from my friends at Metabolic Effect:
    Find the Total Carbohydrate grams.Subtract any fiber grams and total protein grams. The number you are left should be low. For fat loss, the lower the better. And in fact, negative numbers are best. :)

    Is it just me, or do you think some protein bars can be seriously GROSS?! Personally, my favorites are Think Thin & Quest Bars... what is YOUR favorite protein bar? I'm always in the market to try something new (especially if it comes in PB & chocolate) so if you've got a bar you love.... hook a sister up!

    Sunday Dinner!


    Ending my night with note card review & snuggles on the couch! Very full and accomplished Sunday at my house. 

    *Cardio and yoga to clear my mind and get focused. 
    *Play time outside with my pup!
    *Ate breakfast while writing out my meals for the week, and followed up with my challengers & coaches.
    *Prepped my snacks and meals for the week.
    *Studied for my upcoming exam & practiced nursing questions.
    *Family dinner! 

    A Sunday well spent brings a week of content!

    21 Day Fix Flank Steak Dinner


    Clean Eating, Flank Steak, Dinner Recipe
    Flank Steak Dinner
    Recipe time!!!  I am such a meat and potatoes person that just about every meal that I make has these three components.  There is always a lean protein source, a vegetable and then a starchy carb.  The difference between when I was a child to now is that the protein source is lean, is basic, not covered in gravy, sauces or breading and the starch is not a white starch, with butter and cream.  The vegetable is seasoned with extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, pepper and garlic vs butter!  Lastly the difference is that its portion controlled. It is not just a free for all at the dinner table but a conscious decision to fuel your body for energy and not just comfort.

    What resulted in this process is that my food actually does taste more flavorful, I don't feel weighed down or sluggish and I am not over stuffed but satisfied!  So know this, a meat and potatoes girl like myself can change her ways, then so can you!!!

    This is what I like to call a MANS dinner!  I cooked this meal for my Dad and boys on Sunday while they were putting together Bryce's big boy bed and hanging our TV in the basement/workout room/office.

    There was not a peep from the dinner table and not a morsel left on anyone's plate!  So I figured this would be a great easy recipe to share with you!

    Flank Steak:  This is one of the leanest red meats that you can buy.  We buy our flank steak at Costco and have been very pleased.

    Ingredients:  
    Flank Steak
    Fiesta Lime No Salt Added Mrs Dash Seasoning
    Extra Virgin olive oil
    Garlic Cloves Minced

    Directions:
    Take the fresh Flank Steak and place in Ziplok bag, drizzle with EVOO, Sprinkle with Mrs. Dash Fiesta Lime Seasoning and add 2 minced garlic cloves and massage into the Steak.  Let sit for 15 minutes.  Then, place on grill or stove top pan on Medium High until it reaches the desired doneness.  Slice and serve.

    Green Beans:  Place fresh green beans in a steamer and steam until tender to your liking.  Add a drizzle of EVOO and sea salt and pepper.

    Potatoes:  Red and Purple potatoes are a favorite in our house.  I take the small potatoes and slice them down to potato chip size. Then I drizzle with EVOO and Low Sodium Taco Seasoning and toss to coat.  Place in oven at 350 degrees until chips reach their desired doneness!

    Viola, super simple, easy dinner that everyone in your family will enjoy!!!

    Healthy Peanut Butter Egg Recipe

    Hey ! You know I'm a peanut-butter-a-holic. And I also happen to love chocolate, so naturally... I love reese's cups or peanut butter eggs.
    What I don't love is the crazy amounts of sugar and ridiculous list of ingredients packed into each bite. (Seriously, have you read the label lately?!)
    That's why I created a healthier version... (just in time for Easter!)

    Healthy Peanut Butter Eggs Recipe Ingredients: THE BEST PART (aka Peanut-Butter Filling)
    :
    *1 (18 ounce) jar creamy NATURAL peanut butter (or homemade!)
    *1/2 cup coconut oil, softened
    *1 (8 ounce) pkg cream cheese, softened
    *1 teaspoon vanilla extract1 cup Ideal(r) Low calorie Confectionery Sweetener
    *1 cup Truvia (or any stevia)

    Chocolate:
    *2 Tablespoons coconut oil
    *1 oz unsweetened baking chocolate
    *5 Tablespoons coconut milk
    *1/4 cup Ideal(r) Low calorie Confectionery Sweetener
    *Stevia to taste (depending on how bitter or sweet you like your chocolate)
    *Unsweetened cocoa powder to taste

    Directions: For the peanut-butter filling....1. Using a coffee grinder, grind the sweetener until a fine powder to resemble powdered sugar.
    2. Beat cream cheese, coconut oil, peanut butter and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth.
    3. Beat in sweetener.
    4. Line muffin tin and place rounded tablespoonfuls of peanut-butter filling into each liner.
    5. Chill for 30 minutes.

    For the chocolate...1. Place the coconut oil and chopped chocolate in a double boiler (or in a heat safe dish over a pot of boiling water).
    2. Stir until just melted (don't let it burn- it's gross!)
    3. Add in the cocoa powder, cream and sweetener.
    4. Stir until smooth and thick.
    5. Pour warm chocolate coating over each peanut-butter cup.

    Store in the refrigerator.

    Some of you may already know that I'm a Beachbody Coach. If you didn't...now, ya do! . To those who don't know what exactly a Beachbody Coach does but you're wondering, here's a rundown of a typical day of mine:

    -Wake up, workout, and eat my breakfast.
    -Post "assignments" within my Health/Fitness Challenge Groups and new Coach Training and check in to see if there are any questions.
    -Answer a few emails--listen to people's goals and help them find and reach a life-changing solution.
    -Nursing school (on days I have class)
    -Get home, Shakology for lunch, study.
    -Answer more emails and read/listen to self development.
    -Coach call with my coach to game plan and new coaches.
    -Go over class notes & study more.
    -Dinner, shower, snuggle time (boyfriend & puppy).
    -Bed.

    What I love about Coaching:
    I have the opportunity to make a DIFFERENCE in the lives of others. I have made friends with so many amazing, positive and inspiring people. I have a completely changed mentality that has helps me to be more positive, stay organized and manage my time. And, I get to do all of this while I live my life the way I want to live it without missing out on time with family, boyfriend and friends! I am HAPPY!!

    And, you know what? This is possible for YOU too! I am hoping to add 5 more people in a coach training group who I will guide and mentor to be successful as a Beachbody Coach. If you've considered Coaching in the past or if you'd like a little info!

    One question I've gotten a lot recently is from peoplen who want to eat healthy and want to stay on track with their fitness goals... but have NO Idea how to ORDER at a RESTAURANT!
    Navigating healthy eating at restaurants doesn't have to be confusing. Here are a few fat loss insights for you when you're eating out this weekend:

    1. When ordering foods look for high fat low carb meals or low fat high carb meals. Obviously the best is high fiber protein meals. What you want to avoid is high carb and high fat meals.
    2. When stuck eating high fat foods, completely avoid the intake of alcohol or starch/sugar with them. Fat, while calorically dense is hormonally neutral as far as fat storage. Both starch/sugar and alcohol will turn fat against you.
    3. And a super simple tip: Always order salads instead of sandwiches.

    Here are my go-to meals for ANY restaurant:
    • Mexican= burrito bowls limit to 5 bites of rice/beans and skip the chips (a high fat high carb food)
    • Chinese= Chicken veggie stir fry. Sauce on the side
    • Italian= Large Italian salad with chicken. Vinegar based dressings.
    • Burger joint = Burger salad (throw the bun away)
    • Sandwich place= Sandwich becomes salad (toss the bread)
    • Ideal lunch= grilled chicken and vegetables.
    • Ideal dessert= mixed fruit bowl with dollop of whip cream
